About the Dominican e-Ticket
The Dominican e-Ticket is an electronic ticket that is mandatory for all passengers, whether Dominican or foreign, entering or leaving the Dominican Republic.
The e-Ticket has 3 parts:
- International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms
- Traveler’s Health Affidavit
- Customs Declaration
You can get the Dominican e-Ticket by completing the online application form with your personal details, travel information, and passport data.
The approved e-Ticket is then sent to you by email. You must present your Dominican e-Ticket to border control for validation.
Dominican e-Ticket Entry Specifications and Validity
A Dominican e-Ticket is only valid for the date of arrival or departure stated on your application. Each e-Ticket is only valid for use once—you must have a separate ticket for each entry and exit.
Some nationalities must also have a visa to enter the Dominican Republic. Currently, almost 100 countries must have both an e-Ticket and a visa:

Only a valid passport from one of the eligible countries is required to get started with the Dominican e-Ticket application.

Types of Dominican e-Ticket
There are different e-Ticket options depending on your travel needs.
Arrival and Departure from the Dominican Republic
Passengers with a round-trip to the Dominican Republic usually choose to obtain their e-Tickets for both journeys together. This saves time and makes returning home easier.
Arrival in the Dominican Republic
An Arrival in the Dominican Republic allows the holder to enter the Dominican Republic. This is often suitable for passengers with no confirmed return travel or if you’re a resident in the Dominican Republic. Please keep in mind that this is valid for only entering the country.
Departure from the Dominican Republic
Passengers who are leaving the Dominican Republic can obtain the Dominican e-Ticket easily before departure. This is applicable to travelers and residents in the Dominican Republic. Once again please keep in mind that this is valid for only exiting the country.
